U.S. President Donald Trump will arrive in Warsaw on Sunday morning, and not on Saturday evening like it was initially announced - the head of the President's Chancellery Krzysztof Szczerski confirmed for Polish Press Agency (PAP). The information was reported first by the Polish Radio.
Polish Radio correspondent has learned from two White House representatives that the American presidential couple will depart from Washingtonin the late afternoon on Saturday, August 31. The Air Force One will land in Warsaw around 8am Polish time on Sunday, September 1.
This information was confirmed the chief of President Duda's office, Krzysztof Szczerski.
On Sunday, at the Piłsudski Square in Warsaw, Trump will take part in the commemorations of the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Second World War. The American President will also give a speech alongside Poland's President Andrzej Duda and German head of state Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Monday, September 2, will be the day of the bilateral visit of the U.S. President to Poland. Trump will speak face-to-face with President Duda and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. Plenary talks between both delegations will also be held on that day.
