Baltic Pipe without delay
The schedule of work related to the implementation of the Baltic Pipe project has no delays.
In November this year, Gaz-System will sign the final contract for the construction of a gas pipeline with their Danish partners, says Piotr Naimski, who is responsible for energy infrastructure in the Polish government.
Baltic Pipe is a strategic infrastructure project aimed at creating a new gas supply corridor for the European market, connecting Norwegian, Danish and Polish gas systems.
In addition, the project has received 18.3 million euro from European Union funds.
Excellent construction results
The value of industrial production in June was 6.8 percent higher than last year, the Central Statistical Office announced.
Very high, and better than expected is the result recorded in construction and assembly production.
Production growth was recorded in 27 out of 34 industry sectors. The strongest growth was recorded in the automotive industry, power engineering and in metal production.
For another month in a row, great results were achieved by the construction industry. In June, construction and assembly production increased by as much as 25 percent year over year.
Records on the housing market
In the first half of 2018, over 83.000 apartments were handed over - this is the highest result in the last 27 years.
So far, the smallest number of flats were finished in 1996, according to Central Statistical Office.
