Fourteen thousand policemen didn't come to work yesterday, estimated the tvn24.pl website. Today, the number of officers on sick leave may be up to 30,000. There are stations where the only ones left behind are the management. Around 20 percent of all law enforcement employees are taking part in the protest. The minister of internal affairs hopes they all get better quickly and promises to hold talks with trade unions. For now, the chief of police is promising 1,000 zlotys for those who come to work on the 11th of November.
