The govermnent adopted on Tuesday an aid programme to support land and fish farms affected by this year's drought and floods.
In order to implement the programme, the government has earmarked 799,5 million zloty, including 697 million for subsidies for the fallen crops, the Government Information Centre said in a statement.
According to the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation, the drought affected farms all over Poland: in 82,97 percent of municipalities, on a surface covering 63,14 percent of arable lands.
Furthermore, there was a flood in the south of Poland that destroyed crops, among other things.
