Poland's unemployment rate in September this year was at 5.1% against 5.2% in August after adjustment - the country's Central Statistical Office (Statistics Poland) announced on Tuesday (October 25). The number of people registered in labour offices in September was 801,700 against 806,900 in August.
At the end of September, Statistics Poland informed it would revise the monthly registered unemployment rate for the period between December, 2021, and August, 2022.
The office said at the time the revision - planned for 2022 - would include the final data - collected from company reports and budgetary institutions - regarding the number of employed people, except for individual farmers, as well as the final results of the 2020 Agricultural Census pertaining to the number of people working in individual farms.
According to Statistics Poland data, the highest unemployment rate was in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship, whereas the lowest in Greater Poland Voivodeship - 2.8%.
