The final results of the 2023 parliamentary results have been announced. The National Electoral Commission (PKW) on Tuesday (Oct. 17) announced the data collected from 100% of constituencies. According to PKW, Law and Justice has won 35.38% of votes, Civic Coalition - 30.70%, Third Way - 14.40%, New Left - 8.61%, and Confederation - 7.16%. The official result closely resemble the final late poll published by the Ipsos pollster, according to which democratic opposition groupings can win a combined parliamentary majority of 249 seats in the Sejm.
PKW announces final results of 2023 parliamentary election
The National Electoral Commission announced on Tuesday (Oct. 17) the final results of the 2023 parliamentary election.
Law and Justice - 35.38 percent (7,640,854 votes), Civic Coalition – 30.70 percent (6,629,402 votes), Third Way – 14.40 percent (3,110,670 votes), New Left – 8.61 percent (1,859,018), Confederation – 7.16 percent (1,547,364).
The turnout was 74.38%.
Parliamentary election 2023. Ipsos final late poll:
Law and Justice - 36.1 percent (196 seats), Civic Coalition – 31 percent (158 seats), Third Way – 14 percent (61 seats), New Left – 8.6 percent (30 seats), Confederation – 6.8 percent (15 seats), Nonpartisan Local Government Activists – 2 percent (0 seats), There Is One Poland – 1.3 percent(0 seats), Other – 0.2 percent (0 seats).
The voter turnout, according to the final late poll, stood at 73.9 percent.
Ipsos noted that late poll is a result of exit poll which includes 90 percent of official results from the surveyed local electoral commissions.
