Health Ministry said on Thursday that 21,045 new coronavirus infections and 375 deaths of COVID patients were confirmed across Poland.

The biggest part of the new infections was reported in the Masovian province - 3,756 cases.

The ministry also confirmed the death of 375 patients, of which 99 died directly of COVID-19, whereas 276 people also suffered from co-occurring diseases.

Since the start of the pandemic, Poland has reported 1,849,424 coronavirus infections and 46,373 deaths.

Compared to the previous Thursday, the number of infections has gone up by 5,795 cases. On March 4, the ministry informed about 15,250 infections and 289 COVID-related deaths.
