License plates found after heavy rainstorm passed over Olsztyn

Heavy rainfall flooded many streets in the northeastern city of Olsztyn on Sunday, with water levels reaching tens of centimetres in some places. Many cars have lost their license plates. Now, the local police are looking for the owners of the found plates.

Olsztyn Police took photos of the lost and found plates and posted them in a tweet. "Such treasures have found their way to @kmpolsztyn after yesterday's storm!," the police said.

How to collect the plates?

The police informed the owners can pick up their lost plates at the police station at 23 Partyzantów Street in Olsztyn.

In order to get the plates back, the owners must produce registration cards for their vehicles.
