"There's a rule allowing the other side to be heard," said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. He added that Łukasz Piebiak "will have a chance to present the real circumstances surrounding all that was presented to the public opinion". He also said that he'd accept Pabiak's resignation as deputy justice minister. "I believe that ends this story," he added.
During a visit to Otwock, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki was asked by journalists about the scandal involving deputy justice minister Łukasz Piebiak. He said that "there's a rule allowing the other side to be heard".
"(Deputy) minister Pabiak will have, what he himself called, a chance to present the real circumstances surrounding all that was presented to the public opinion. I think that all of us, drawing on our experience, should give the other side a chance to explain," PM Morawiecki said.
"Nevertheless, based on certain circumstances that have occured, Mr Piebiak has taken such decision" (to step down as deputy justice minister), Morawiecki added.
Morawiecki announced that he'd accept Pabiak's resignation as deputy justice minister. "I believe that ends this story," he added.
