Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has ordered the Chief Sanitary Inspector and the interior minister to inspect an illegal market of issuing false COVID-19 vaccination certificates. This illegal practice has been exposed by "Fakty" TVN reporters, who carried out an undercover inquiry at a vaccination point near Kraków.

"Fakty" TVN reporters have exposed an illegal procedure of issuing false COVID-19 vaccination certificates. The journalists monitored this practice for a month at MASMED Medical Centre in Zabierzów, near Kraków. As part of an undercover journalistic inquiry, Wojciech Bojanowski and Olga Orzechowska took part in a pseudo-vaccination.

On Thursday morning, the police went into the MASMED Medical Centre, whose illegal practice had been exposed by the journalists.

Later that day, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki was asked at a press conference to comment on the report by "Fakty" TVN.

"This problem occurs across whole Europe. Just yesterday, I discussed this issue with a few other prime ministers," Morawiecki said.

He added that "unfortunately, the black market of false COVID-19 vaccination certificates is thriving". "This is a very dangerous practice, as such people expose others to a risk of infection, as well as the most dire consequences," the prime minister stressed.

"I have issued additional orders for the Chief Sanitary Inspector and the interior minister regarding monitoring of this practice," he informed.
