EU leaders and the prime ministers of Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein celebrated the 25th anniversary of the European Economic Area (EEA) on Friday (March 22). On the margins of a wider summit in Brussels to discuss Brexit and relations with China, the leaders posed for a family photo whilst European Council President Donald Tusk praised the advantages of the agreement. Established in 1994, the EEA allows access to the EU's single market to non EU member states.
