Błaszczak added that he has already planned his next visit in Washington. "A working party comprised of experts from Pentagon and Polish Ministry of Defense have also commenced initial work on the details," he said.
Mariusz Błaszczak also said that the project of permanent U.S. bases in Poland, Fort Trump, haven't been discussed during talks between the defense ministers of 29 NATO member-states. "This is a Polish - American project," he underscored.
Asked about when any conclusions in this matter can be expected, he replied that "the date scheduled by the U.S. Congress is March, 2019". "That's when the Pentagon is expected to present its recommendation of this issue in the Congress," said Błaszczak.
