After a long struggle with illness, one of the co-creators of TVN24 and TVN24 BIS, journalist and our dear colleague, Sebastian Podkościelny has passed away. He was 47.
Sebastian Podkościelny was a part of TVN24 from its very beginnings, first as a producer of news and opinion programmes. From 2004, he was the head of producers team and after 3 years, in 2007, he became the Deputy Chief Editor of TVN24 station. In recent years he was the Chief Editor of TVN24 BIS channel.
During last 18 years he was responsible for numerous programmes, productions and projects by TVN. The last one of them was launching TVN's second news channel - TVN24 BIS, which he then headed.
Before joining TVN24, he had worked for many years in the Polish Radio, Radio Information Agency (Informacyjna Agencja Radiowa - IAR) and TV Puls.
He was a graduate of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw as well MBA studies at the University of Illinois.
