The Amber Gold affair investigative committee has received a formal request to hold the hearing of former prime minister Donald Tusk on 2 October; the committee will grant this request - the chair of the committee Ma艂gorzata Wassermann (Law and Justice) said on Friday.
The request to set the date of Donald Tusk's hearing has been sent by his attorney Roman Giertych. Radio Zet was the first to inform about it on Friday.
Ma艂gorzata Wassermann has confirmed the information. "There's no signature on the request, however. There is only a letterhead of Mr Giertych's Chancellery and a stamp," said the chair of the committee. She added that the commitee needs to receive the original copy with a signature. "Once it happens, the committee will comply with the request to hold Donald Tusk's hearing on 2 October," she said.
Wassermann explained that 2 October is one of the three dates proposed to Tusk earlier on by the committee.
