During his visit to Warsaw on Wednesday, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba met with Poland's Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. According to government spokesperson Piotr Müller, the two politicians discussed further steps aimed at stopping Russian aggression against Ukraine. "No doubt, the times of need reveal true friends," Kuleba said on Twitter after the meeting. He then met with the Speaker of the Sejm Elżbieta Witek.
The meeting between Kuleba and Morawiecki was also attended by prime minister's aides Michał Dworczyk and Krzysztof Kubów, government spokesperson Piotr Müller, Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Przydacz, as well as Ukraine's Ambassador to Poland Andrii Deshchytsia.
"We are taking further steps increasing Europe's security. The discussion was focused on further steps that might stop Russian aggression: delivering further aid for Ukraine, extending sanctions, and future international support in rebuilding Ukraine," Müller said on Twitter.
Kuleba: we're grateful to Poland for hospitality
Kuleba posted a tweet in which he thanked Poles for the hospitality offered to Ukrainians flleing war.
"Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki received me in Warsaw today. Grateful to Poland for being so hospitable to Ukrainians fleeing the war. Poland is ready to provide more humanitarian, financial, and political support for Ukraine. No doubt, the times of need reveal true friends," Ukraine's Foreign Minister wrote.
After the meeting with Morawiecki, Kuleba went on to meet the Speaker of the Sejm Elżbieta Witek and the Speaker of the Senate Tomasz Grodzki.
