On Friday, August 9, the Sejm will debate the motion to remove Marek Kuchciński from the position of the lower house speaker - according to a draft schedule of the session.

On Friday, August 9, the Sejm will resume the session that began on Wednesday, August 31.
The debate and vote over the motion to dismiss Marshal Kuchciński have been scheduled for the evening. Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, current deputy Speaker of the Sejm, is the Civic Platform-Civic Coalition club's candidate to replace Kuchciński.
The motion to replace Kuchciński came after it was revealed that he was flying together with his family in a government plane.
The initial schedule assumes that after a debate on Kuchciński's dismissal, that would include 5-minute-long speeches, the vote would follow.
