Health Ministry: 767 new COVID cases and 21 deaths

The highest number of the 767 cases were reported in Lubelskie province - 144.

The data also showed that more than 100 new cases were reported in two provinces. Last time when such situation occurred was in May this year.

Health Ministry also said that 533 new infections had been reported last Wednesday, on September 8 - which is 234 cases less than this Wednesday.

The ministry added that 21 COVID patients died in the last 24 hours, of which 12 had co-occurring diseases.

Since the start of the pandemic, Poland has reported 2,895,223 infection cases and 75,454 COVID-related deaths.
