The Government Centre for Security (RCB) has issued an RCB alert due to expected severe weather conditions. Forecasters from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) informed that the weather may be very dangerous. Storms and strong wind are expected in the north of the country, while the southern parts are likely to be hit by hailstorms and heavy rain.
The Government Centre for Security (RCB) has issued an alert warning against heavy rain and hailstorms in the southern and southeastern parts of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship.
"Warning! Today (July 6), at night, and tomorrow morning heavy rain and storms are expected. Rivers are likely to be in full spate. Prepare for river overflows. Follow the orders issued by the services" - reads the announcement by the RCB.
Storms are also expected in northern Poland, where they are likely to be accompanied by heavy gusts of wind.
The services warn against possible flooding as rivers may overflow. It is advised to seek safe shelter.
