In a poll carried out by Kantar for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24, a vast majority of respondents said that membership in the European Union was either probably good or definitely good for Poland. These two answers combined were picked by 90 percent of those asked.
In a survey carried out for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24, Kantar pollster asked respondents the following question: "In Your opinion, is it good that Poland is a member of the European Union?".
The affirmative answer was picked by 90% of respondents.
65% said that EU membership was definitely good for Poland, while 25% said it was probably good.
The negative answer was picked by 6% of respondents.
Only 4% of those asked said EU membership was probably not good for Poland, while 2% said it was definitely not good.
The answer "don't know/hard to say" was chosen by 4%.
Kantar also asked respondents another question: "In Your opinion, can the policy of PiS government can result in Poland leaving the European Union?".
The "yes" answer was picked by 47% of respondents - 27% said "definitely yes", and 20% - "probably yes".
A total of 43% of respondents said "no", of which 19% said "definitely not", and 24% - "probably not".
The answer "don't know/hard to say" was chosen by 10%.
The phone survey was carried out by Kantar on October 12-13, 2021, on a nationawide, representative sample of 1,000 adults aged 18+.
