The United Right coalition still enjoys the highest voter support, but opposition parties grow stronger, according to the latest poll by Kantar conducted for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24. If the election were held soon, the ruling party would win 31% of votes, and a total of six parties would win seats in the parliament.
In a telephone survey carried out by Kantar on December 10-12, respondents were asked which party they would vote for in parliamentary elections.
31% said they would vote for the United Right ruling coalition (Law and Justice, United Poland), which is 1 percentage point less then in the previous poll by Kantar for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24, carried out in October.
24% would pick the Civic Coalition parliamentary alliance (Civic Platform, Modern, Polish Initiative, The Greens) - 2 pp less than in the previous poll.
14% of respondents said they would vote for Szymon Hołownia's Poland 2050 - 1 point less than in October.
Far-right Confederation Liberty and Independence would secure 7% of votes - 2 pp less than previously.
The Left alliance (Democratic Left Alliance, Spring, Razem) would win 6% of votes - the same as in October.
6% of respondents said they would vote for Polish Coalition - Polish People's Party alliance, which is 2 points more than in October's poll. This means the alliance would make it to the parliament.
Kukiz'15 would win 2% of votes and thus not pass the minimum threshold. However, this is a significant improvement as the party scored 0% in the previous survey.
Jarosław Gowin's Accord party would win 1% of votes - exactly the same as previously.
8% of those asked picked "don't know/hard to say/refuse to answer" option, which is 1pp more than last time.
