Iga Świątek is already back in Poland. Her scheduled flight arrived at Warsaw Chopin Airport before 1 p.m.
The Polish tennis champion on Saturday added the 2022 U.S. Open title to the long list of her achievements, after defeating Tunisia's Ons Jabeur in the final match.
On Monday, Iga Świątek spoke with Anita Werner in TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach".
"I'm starting to realise what I've achieved. I'm happy that it doesn't come with this uncertainty about what's next. After my first Grand Slam win I couldn't fully celebrated it, but now I've learned how do it," she said.
Nearly 10-hour flight
