Helsinki Foundation: inmates in Poland must face violence, abuse and coercion

Forced confessions, coercion, violence, sexual abuse, bad treatment and poor living conditions. Those are the most frequent complaints by prison inmates in Poland. That's the focus of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights' latest report. There are up to 40.000 such complaints annually, some of which concern police officers.
