Poland's minister of health reported on Tuesday that there were 20 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Poland, one in Warsaw and two in Cieszyn. One of the cases was the general commander of Poland's armed forces Jarosław Mika.

"On Tuesday three new cases of coronavirus were confirmed - one in Warsaw and two in Cieszyn" - minister Łukasz Szumowski said at a conference. He added that the total count of cases went up to 20.

Asked about Tuesday's meeting of the National Security Council (RBN), Szumowski said the talks were very constructive, to the point, and without any political or partisan disputes.

The main topic of the RBN meeting summoned by President Andrzej Duda was joint action aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus. Apart from the president and government officials, representatives of parliamentary factions were also present at the council session.

The new coronavirus SARS-Cov-2 causes a disease named COVID-19, which most often manifests itself with fever, cough, dyspnea, muscle pain and exhaustion.
