Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy expressed his gratitude to Polish Ambassador Bartosz Cichocki and Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Visvaldas Kulbokas, who are the only diplomats who haven't left Kiev for 99 days of Russian invasion into Ukraine.

"I would like to especially thank those who haven't left Kiev during these 99 days not even for a moment - Poland's Ambassador Bartosz Cichocki and Apostolic Nuncio Visvaldas Kulbokas," Ukraine's president said at a ceremony of presentation of letters of credence by ambassadors of the United States, India, and Moldova.

President Zelenskiy quoted Pope John Paul II, who had once said that "the worst prison would be a closed heart". "During these 99 days we've become 100 percent certain that your hearts are wide open for Ukraine. The same way our country will be always open to you," Zelenskiy said.
