"We ask for forgiveness". Bishop of Opole Diocese apologised the faithful on behalf of his priests

A call for forgiveness for the sins of a paedophile priests was heard on Sunday in the Opole Diocese. In a letter to the faithful, bishop Andrzej Czaja apologised for the deeds that left many children scarred for life. Also processions against paedophilia in the Church and gestures of solidarity with the victims were seen on the streets of numerous Polish cities.
