Winter is not letting up. A blizzard paralysed Białystok on Tuesday. City officials instituted a temporary ban on heavy trucks entering the city. The difficult weather conditions are not only on Polish roads, but also in the mountains. In the Tatras, the 3rd-degree avalanche warning is still in effect. Meteorologists are also warning against the possiblity of heavy snowfall in the high country.
