Chief of Poland's National Security Bureau (BBN) Paweł Soloch met with U.S. Ambassador to Poland Mark Brzezinski on Friday. "This morning I had a good conversation with BBN chief Paweł Soloch," Brzezinski said on Twitter. Soloch said after the meeting that the two had discussed help for Ukraine, including military support, as well as Polish-U.S. cooperation within NATO.
Ambassador Mark Brzezinski informed about the meeting on Friday on Twitter. "This morning I had a good conversation with BBN chief Paweł Soloch. The United States and Poland are cooperating in many fields - ensuring common security, strengthening economic ties and supporting Ukraine. Our close cooperation will be continued," he wrote.
Soloch said after the meeting that he and ambassador Brzezinski had discussed Ukraine, "especially in the context of the last visit of presidents, including president Andrzej Duda, to Kiev and the talks with president Volodymyr Zelenskiy, as well as further cooperation of the whole Western Block, especially NATO countries, coordination of efforts within NATO, and Polish-American cooperation".
"Discussing cooperation, we also touched upon the question of military support the NATO countries have been providing for Ukraine, the needs that Ukraine mentions, and coordination of efforts in that regard," he added.
Soloch also informed that the two discussed "assessment of the present situation and attempts to predict how the present situation could develop in the light of the new stage of the war - the Russian offensive which now seems to be intensifying".
