The Armed Forces General Command has released a video showing air drills of Polish and American pilots. Within the framework of the Aviation Detachment Rotation (ADR) practice, twenty U.S. Air Force F-15 and four F-16 fighter jets arrived in Poland.

The practice has been taking place at the 31st and 32nd Tactical Air Bases in Krzesiny and Łask respectively. The F-15s, both E and C models, come from RAF Lakenheath, UK, and belong to the 48th Fighter Wing, whilst the F-16s are assigned to the 480th Fighter Squadron, 52nd Fighter Wing, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany.

"During their missions the fighter jets are supported by a special plane equipped with AWACS system (Airborne Warning and Control System)" - said Major Magdalena Busz from the Armed Forces General Command.

In total, 24 U.S. Air Force fighter jets have been deployed to Poland: ten F-15s and two F-16s per each of the two air bases.

"The practice consists of two sorties a day, during which aerial refueling operations are performed involving a British Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker refueling aircraft" - Major Busz said.
