Police officers from Kraśnik were driving their patrol car through Zakrzówek (Lublin Voivodeship), when they came across two ponies galloping towards the expressway. The owner of the animals was surprised they had managed to escape from the stables.
Kraśnik police officers, who were patrolling the village of Zakrzówek on Sunday (May 29), will certainly remember that day for a long time. "Suddenly two ponies ran in front of their car. The animals were galloping along the road and sidewalk," said Paweł Cieliczko from Kraśnik Country Police.
The ponies were running towards the expressway. The officers cut in front of the animals, captured and escorted them to a nearby estate.
"They also identified the owner of the ponies. The man was surprised the animals were gone because - as he claimed - he secured them from escaping," another officer added.
The officers helped to escort the naughty ponies back to their stables. They also lectured the owner and urged him to be more careful with the animals in the future.
