After two cars collided on Puławska Street in Warsaw, one of them plowed into a group of pedestrians. Some of them have been injured.
The accident happened on Sunday afternoon (June 9) at the intersection of Puławska and Malczewskiego streets. The police told TVN24 it was notified of the crash at 2:30 p.m.
"Two cars took part in the accident: a Toyota, and a BMW. As a result of the crash, the BMW changed direction and hit a group of pedestrians. Six people have been injured - five pedestrians and the driver of the BMW. Both drivers have been tested for alcohol content - they were sober," said Rafał Rutkowski of the Warsaw Metropolitan Police.
TVN24 reporter Artur Molęda said that after crashing with the taxi, the smashed through traffic poles, plowed into a group of pedestrians, and overturned.
