President Duda annouced judge Gersdorf's position in Supreme Court vacant

It's been decided. According to President Andrzej Duda, the position of judge Małgorzata Gersdorf is up for grabs. This was confirmed by presidential minister Andrzej Dera, who admitted that in annoucement on vacancies within the Supreme Court, the position of the court's first president was also included. This is all taking place when the Court of Justice of the European Union is examining the issue of Supreme Court's judges being forced into retirement. The Polish Bar Council has appealed for new judges not to be appointed until the CJEU judgement is made.
