Poll: far-right leader Robert Bąkiewicz is PiS's parliamentary candidate

46% of respondents have a negative opinion on the far-right leader Robert Bąkiewicz running in the parliamentary election as a ruling PiS party's candidate - according to a recent poll by Kantar for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24. Bąkiewicz is a former chairman of the Independence March Association. He is to run from the last place at PiS's election list for Radom constituency.

In the latest poll carried out by Kantar for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24, the respondents were asked the following question: "Robert Bąkiewicz, a man associated with nationalist circles, has been listed as a PiS candidate to the Sejm. How do you assess this candidacy?".

46% of those asked said they had a negative opinion regarding Bąkiewicz's candidacy, 13% shared a good opinion, and 41% said it was "hard to say".

Robert Bąkiewicz is to run in the election as the last name on the list in Radom constituency. His candidacy has been put forward by Sovereign Poland.

Bąkiewicz is a former chairman of the Independence March Association. He is widely known as a far-right leader propagating nationalistic, homophobic, anti-Semitic, and anti-democratic ideas.
