It was two metres tall and stood in the middle of Dąbrowskiego Street in the centre of Leszno (Greater Poland Voivodeship). A police patrol was dispatched to deal with the unusual "pedestrian". The officers have took photos from this non-ordinary intervention.
Police officers from Leszno (Greater Poland Voivodeship) have just published a photo and video from an unusual intervention which took place during recent heavy snowfall. It was then when a big, white figure appeared in the town centre, at Dąbrowskiego Street. Local residents notified the police about "a pedestrian" who perisistently stood in the middle of the road.
"Police officers were dispatched to the location after receiving this unusual call. Most likely, someone overjoyed with the winter aura decided to build a snowman in the street at night. It was quite a big figure, as it was over two metres tall," said Leszno Police spokesperson Monika Żymełka.
It turned out the snowman was so big and heavy that it required help from city services. The snowman was removed with a snow plow. "Although at a first glance the situation may have looked quite funny, it could have really caused danger on the road. Hitting such an object could at least result in serious car damage," Żymełka added.
