Up to five years in prison for cruelty to animals. New law comes into effect

It was a good day for animals in Poland. In particular, as far as the protection of their rights is concerned. The new laws that came into effect will guarantee more extreme punishments for those who hurt animals. Whether or not the amendments will work, only time will tell.
