Four years ago, Law and Justice promised big changes, among others, in the health service. The party annouced liquidation of the National Health Fund, introducing hospital network and state budget funding. In a survey conducted for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24, Kantar pollster asked respondents if they had noticed improvement in health care.
According to the poll, 62 percent of respondents did not notice improvement in the functioning of the health care system. The opposite opinion was expressed by 27 percent.
The most critical of Law and Justice government were people aged 35-44. As much as 69 percent of them do not see improvement in the health service. Only 17 percent in this age group notice change for better.
The least critical, compared to other age groups, were people age 60 and above. 34 percent of them declare they see betterment Polish health care, while 56 percent that they do not.
11 percent of those asked by Kantar if the Polish health care has improved chose the answer "don't know/hard to say".
The phone survey was conducted by Kantar for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24 on September 25-26 on a nationwide representative sample of Polish citizens aged 18+. The sample involved 1005 people. Possible observational error is 3 percentage points.
