Polish government wants to amend the law on compulsory car inspections

Some changes to the car regulation are just around the corner. In Poland drivers have to make vehicle inspections on a regular basis, at the official inspection stations. Those who fail to make of pass such inspection, once stopped by the police, are likely to be fined on a good day. If the check-up is long overdue, the police will confiscate driver's registration. The government wants to amend the law to make it more effective.
