The Polish Ambassador to the United States had to intervene and protest a banner on Fox News during their coverage of the deportation of former SS guard Jakiw Palij to Germany. The Polish diplomat criticised the channel for using the term "Polish death camp". Jakiw Palij, an ethnic Ukrainian, was a citizen of the Second Republic of Poland. He stands accused of being a former guard at the Nazi-German death camp "Trawniki" where several thousand Jews were murdered. He himself might be involved in death of 7.000 people. Fox News issued correction.
