People took to the streets to protest against Law and Justice's judiciary overhaul

After President Duda's signed the latest amendment to judiciary laws, protests in the streets of Polish cities are organized on a regular basis. The new legislation is meant to expedite replacement of the First President of the Supreme Court. However, according to the Constitution, the current President is bound to serve until 2020.
