Warsaw police detained two further people on Wednesday, a boy and a girl, in connection with last week's murder of a teenager in one of the schools in Warsaw's Wawer district.
"One is a female minor, student of the school where the incident happened and the other is male minor from another school" - said Sylwester Marczak, spokesperson for Warsaw police. Both were detained on Wednesday.
As we've determined, the girl is older than 15, whereas the boy is younger than that. He was detained at school premises. "In total, 5 people have been detained in connection with the case," said the spokesperson.
The investigation is overseen by the court. The spokesperson for the Warszawa-Praga Disctrict Court refused to reveal the details regarding the detained couple's involvement in the incident.
Last week, during a scuffle on the school premises, a 15-year-old fatally stabbed another teenager.
The boy has been placed in a juvenile detention facility.
The prosecutor's office is investigating the tragic incident.
The police spokesperson said that they treat the incident as priority and that a special task force has been formed.
