If the presidential election run-off took place on the coming Sunday (June 28), the incumbent president Andrzej Duda would beat his main rival, mayor of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski, by a tenth of a percentage point, according to a poll by IBRiS for Wirtualna Polska portal (wp.pl). Another poll by the same pollster, carried out for RMF FM radio and "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna", showed Trzaskowski winning the second round of the vote.
The first round of presidential election in Poland is to take place on Sunday, June 28.
IBRiS poll for WP: one tenth of percentage point between top candidates
According to a survey carried out by IBRiS pollster for Wirtualna Polska (data gathered on June 20), published on Monday, in the first round of presidential election, current president Andrzej Duda would win 41% of votes, Civic Coalition candidate Rafał Trzaskowski - 27,1%, independent candidate Szymon Hołownia - 8,9%, Polish Coalition candidate Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz - 7,3%, Confederation candidate Krzysztof Bosak - 5,6%, and the Left candidate Robert Biedroń - 4,2%.
If the second round of the election were to be carried out this coming Sunday (June 28), Andrzej Duda and Rafał Trzaskowski would face each other. The gap between them would be marginal - the former would secure 45,6% of votes, while the latter - 45,5%. The remaining respondents said they either didn't know who they would support (5,4%), or declared they would not vote at all (3,5%).

IBRiS also carried out a poll for RMF FM and "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna" (data from June 19). Voter sentiment in the first round of the election would look as follows: 41,5% would support Andrzej Duda, 28,3% - Rafał Trzaskowski, while Szymon Hołownia would get the third result of 8,6%.
Further down the list there would be the following candidates: Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz - 8%, Krzysztof Bosak - 5,4% and Robert Biedroń - 2,2%. The remaining 5 candidates would win 0,2% of votes combined. Nearly 6% of those asked declared they did not know who they would vote for.
In the second round, according to this poll, Rafał Trzaskowski would win most the votes - 46,9%, while the sitting president Andrzej Duda would secure - 45,8%.
The survey also showed 4,4% of undecided respondents, and 3% saying they would vote at all in the second round.
Kantar poll for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24
On Thursday (June 18), a poll by Kantar for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24 was published and it showed 40% of respondents declaring support for current president Andrzej Duda, whereas 32% would vote for Rafał Trzaskowski.
Such scenario would mean that both candidates would meet in the second round of the vote. The poll showed Duda and Trzaskowski winning 48% of votes each.
There are 11 candidates in the 2020 presidential election in Poland: Robert Biedroń, Krzysztof Bosak, Andrzej Duda, Szymon Hołownia, Marek Jakubiak, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Mirosław Piotrowski, Paweł Tanajno, Rafał Trzaskowski, Waldemar Witkowski and Stanisław Żółtek.
