After the 4-hour meeting, the chief of the President's Chancellery, Krzysztof Szczerski, informed that the President would appoint Mateusz Morawiecki as prime minister on Thursday before noon.

Sport minister unknown
The prime minister presented his new cabinet on Friday. It will be composed of 20 ministries. New ministries will be created, including one supervising state assets, one for funds management and one for climate. The Ministry of Energy, on the other hand, will be liquidated.
The ministry which new head has not yet been revealed is the Ministry of Sport. According to PAP sources, only one candidate is being considered to stand at the helm of that ministry, and most likely, his or her name will be disclosed on Friday during the official appointment of the cabinet.
New cabinet
According to the constitution, after accepting cabinet's dismissal, the president has 14 days to appoint new prime minister, his cabinet and take the cabinet's oath.
No later than 14 days after the new cabinet's designation, new PM presents the government programme (in an expose) and files for a vote of confidence for his cabinet, which can be granted by an absolute majority of MPs with at least half of the total number present.
According to PAP, Morawiecki is to give an expose in the Sejm on Tuesday, November 19.
