Five people drowned in Poland Monday - the Government Centre for Security (RCB) informed in its daily report published on Tuesday.
According to the RCB daily report, five people died by drowning in Poland on Monday, June 24.
In total, since the 1st of April, 143 people died under water.
The RCB cautions everyone that "swimming under the influence of alcohol, as well as overestimating one's capabilities are the most common causes of drownings".
The institution also reminds about the importance of adhering to safety measures once resting at the waterside.
