Poland vetoes EU Fundamental Rights Statement as it omits Christians and Jews

The Polish government is vetoing the EU Fundamental Human Rights Statement. The reason is that it includes provisions pertaining to the difficulties that sexual minorities face in their everyday lives and not enough about the fate of Christians and Jews. Poland was the only country objecting to the document in that form.
