"Angelo" and his crew arrested after police operation

The police detained 17 member of a group that specialised in robbing mainly elderly people by using the so-called policeman scheme. The criminals passed themselves as policeman over the phone and manipulated their victims into handing over their money and valuables, in order to protect it from theft. The court decided to arrest 13 people for a 3-month period. They may face up to ten years in prison. Among the arrested was the group's leader who may face up to 15 years behind bars.
