In the latest poll on Polish electoral preferences, conducted regularly by Opinia24, respondents were asked which party or coalition they would vote for if parliamentary elections were held next Sunday.
At the top is the Civic Coalition, with 32.1 percent of respondents' votes. This represents a decrease of 1.9 percentage points compared to the previous survey conducted between November 12 and 15.
Second place is held by Law and Justice (PiS) with 29.2 percent support (a decrease of 0.8 percentage points).
The Confederation is in third place with 13.7 percent (an increase of 0.7 percentage points).
Third Way would receive 9.9 percent of respondents' votes (an increase of 2.1 percentage points). The research firm notes that "compared to the previous month, the percentage of people planning to vote for Third Way has increased the most."
The Left received 6.7 percent support (a decrease of 1.5 percentage points).
The next party in the poll is Razem, with 2.5 percent support.
The "other party" option was selected by 1.5 percent, and 4.4 percent of respondents answered, "hard to say."
The Left with weakest result since 2023 elections
Urszula Krassowska, director of social research at Opinia24, commented on the survey, stating that "if elections were held at the beginning of December, support for the Civic Coalition and Law and Justice would be slightly lower than in November."
"The Confederation has solidified its third position. Third Way has also gained support. A smaller percentage of voters indicated The Left. It seems that the departure of the Razem Party may have influenced the drop in ratings. The Left has recorded its weakest result this month since the 2023 elections," she added.
According to the analyst, "although declarations of voting intentions in potential parliamentary elections are an important indicator of public sentiment, media and political attention are increasingly focused on next year's presidential elections."
"Certainly, candidates will be evaluated in connection with the actions of the groups supporting them, even though all presidential contenders emphasize their independence," Krassowska added.
The survey was conducted using computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI) and online interviews (CAWI) between December 3 and 6, 2024, on a sample of 1,001 adults.
