Warsaw City Hall dissolved the National Radical Camp's (ONR) march through the city on the 1st of August, the day marking the anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising.
As the City Hall have informed on Twitter, the decision to dissolve the ONR march came because the participants had "flags and T-shirts showing symbols of totalitarian organisations".
The minister of Internal Affairs and Administration declared the decision "unjustified". As he wrote on Twitter, according to the information he received from the police, the reason for dissolving of the march was "a T-shirt showing a sickle and a hammer, worn by one of the participants". The minister said that such reason is "totally weird".
Spokesperson for the ONR Michał Jelonek announced that the organisation will notify the prosecutor's office about the possible negligence and abuse of power by the President of Warsaw Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, as well as by the city officials present at the Wednesday's march.
