If Poles voted the same way in this year's parliamentary elections in the fall, like they did in Sunday's European vote, the ruling Law and Justice party would win 233 seats in the Polish lower house, whereas the European Coalition - 201. Four parties would make it to the Sejm, according to a simulation made by Ipsos pollster.
According to a late poll carried out by Ipsos for TVN24, Law and Justice (PiS) won the highest number of votes in the European election in Poland.
PiS has won 43,1 percent of votes.
The European Coalition took the second place. 38,4 percent of those asked have voted for this formation.
The third place, according to the late poll, was taken by Wiosna (Spring) party with 6,7 percent of votes. The Confederation Korwin Braun Liroy Nationalists came fourth with 6,2percent of votes.
These four formations will share 52 seats in Brussels between themselves.
Simulation: seats in Polish parliament
Ipsos also carried out a simulation showing how many seats would each the parties win in the Polish parliament, if Poles voted the same way in parliamentary election in October 2019.
With the same number of votes, PiS would secure 233 seats and the European Coalition - 201.
Wiosna party and the Confederation would also win seats in the lower house - 16 and 10 respectively.
Only these four formations would make it to the Sejm.
