Law and Justice (PiS) - 36 percent, European Coalition - 34 percent, according to the latest phone survey by Kantar for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24. Robert Biedroń's Wiosna (Spring) party would get the third result with 8 percent. The elections to the European Parliament will take place on Sunday, May 26.
The respondents were asked who would they vote for during Sunday's election to the European Parliament. In the phone survey conducted by Kantar, 36 percent of respondents answered they would pick a candidate from the ruling Law and Justice party.
This is 2 percentage points more compared to the survey from the 10th of May.
The second place in the poll was taken by the European Coalition comprised of Civic Platform, Polish People's Party, Democratic Left Alliance, Modern Party and the Greens. The coalition was picked by 34 percent of those asked (1 percentage point more compared to the last survey).
Robert Biedroń's Wiosna (Spring) party would secure third place with 8 percent of voters choosing their candidates (no changes compared to the May 10 poll).
The 5-percent minimum threshold would be reached also by the Confederation - Korwin Braun Liroy Nationalists (6 percent - no change compared to the last poll).
According to the survey, the list of parties that wouldn't place their candidates in the European Parliament is as follows: Kukiz '15 (4 percent - 1 percentage point drop), United Left - Razem Party, Labour Union and Social Justice Movement (3 percent - increase by 1 percentage point), as well as Fair Play Poland which was picked by 1 percent of respondents. The remaining committees weren't chosen by any of those surveyed.
The "don't know/hard to say, haven't decided yet" answer was picked by 2 percent of respondents, while 6 percent refused to answer.
The phone survey for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24 was conducted between 22 and 23 of May 2019 on a nationwide, representative sample of respondents aged over 18. The sample involved 1002 people.
5-procentowy próg wyborczy w wyborach do Parlamentu Europejskiego przekroczyłby także Komitet Wyborczy Wyborców Konfederacja - Korwin Braun Liroy Narodowcy (6 procent - bez zmian w porównaniu do poprzedniego badania). Poza europarlamentem znalazłyby się Komitet Wyborczy Wyborców Kukiz'15 (4 procent - spadek o 1 punkt procentowy), Koalicyjny Komitet Wyborczy Lewica Razem - Partia Razem, Unia Pracy i Ruch Sprawiedliwości Społecznej (3 procent - wzrost o 1 punkt procentowy w porównaniu do poprzedniego badania), a także Komitet Wyborczy Polska Fair Play, na który wskazało 1 procent respondentów. Pozostałe komitety nie uzyskały żadnych wskazań. Odpowiedzi "nie wiem/trudno powiedzieć/jeszcze nie zdecydowałem" udzieliło 2 procent ankietowanych. 6 procent badanych odmówiło odpowiedzi na pytanie.
