On the 18th of May, the European Coalition is to organize a big march in Warsaw. "Anyone who wants independent and European-oriented Poland is invited," said the leader of Civic Platform Grzegorz Schetyna at a convention in Poznań on Saturday.
"I am proud to invite you to a grand march which we plan to organize on the 18th of May in Warsaw. I would like to invite you on behalf of the European Coalition. All of you are welcome, from Greater Poland to Pomerania and Podlasie. Teachers and disabled. People from minorities and majority," said Schetyna.
He also extended the invitation to both young and the elderly, as well as "anyone who wants independent and European-oriented Poland".
"However, our next great decision, next step towards the future Poland of our dreams, we will take this step during the vote on the 26th of May and on that day we shall prevail," he said.
"There's simply no place in the EU for a one-party state, a state of politically-controlled courts. If Poland was trying to become an EU member today, it would have been rejected, so don't believe those who say that Polexit is an exaggeration," said Schetyna.
"As the European Coalition, we won't allow Poland to be taken outside EU," he added.
