Three years ago, the Constitutional Tribunal with Julia Przyłębska at helm decided to tighten Poland's already restrictive abortion law even further.
The Tribunal ruled in October 2020 that termination of pregnancy due to fetal defects was no longer legal.
The decision sparked mass protests in the streets of major cities across the country.
Currently, a nearly-full ban on abortion is in place, with the exception of situations in which a woman's life or health is at risk or when the pregnancy is a result of rape or incest.
The telephone survey was carried out by Kantar on October 2-4 on a nationwide, representative sample of 1,500 people aged 18+.
